Contacting Team Kilimanjaro
Please don’t hesitate to contact us, even if your research is only at a very tentative stage. Our experience shows that climbers are best served if they approach us for our perspectives on route selection, group configuration, training and preparations, etc, at the earliest possible stage in the planning phase. Technically, we’re probably all overworked throughout the company, and work very long hours, but there is actually very little that we enjoy more than hearing from a new climber who shares our enthusiasm for Kilimanjaro.

Team Kilimanjaro Reviews
We are occasionally asked by prospective climbers if we can provide references, or contact details of other climbers that have climbed with us. If asked we will always make an effort to write to climbers that have recently climbed with TK, and ask them if they would be willing to be contacted, but prospective climbers may feel that they will be more objectively served by obtaining this information independently of our influence, as it is frankly most likely that our coordinators will approach climbers that have been most effusive in their praise of the men, and who they hope will be most likely to say nice things about Team Kilimanjaro.
In a spirit of objectivity then, we recommend that climbers Google some independently generated information about us on the Internet, if as yet unsure whether we are the most suitable climb operator for your planned climb, or else that they peruse a specialist independent source, such as Bruce and Wilma Whittaker’s website, Africa Safari Journals. Bruce and Wilma approached us a while ago after claiming to have concluded that we ought to be featured on their list of the top three Kilimanjaro climb operators. They have begun publishing reviews on their website. These reviews can be accessed via the green box at right and above.
If any climbers return from their climb and feel moved to write about the guide team that they climbed with, please know that such feedback is a real encouragement to your crew and also plays a very helpful part in the internal process of reviewing a guide’s performance and re-assessing their current rank within Team Kilimanjaro. We aim to ongoingly identify the guides and their crew that go furthest beyond the call of duty, so that they can be rewarded with the most regular assignments. Should you be willing to volunteer such feedback, please know that you will have been instrumental in furthering your own team’s career, or in helping us to correct any shortfalls.
