The rangers have advised against continuing through to Kikelewa as there seems to be a lot of wildlife on the mountain at the moment, but with our 3 teams of 21 climbers and over 80 staff, we will be fine. We have about 90 minutes to go before we arrive at camp.

All 4 climbers are doing well and we reached Umbwe Cave Camp OK yesterday. Today we are heading to Barranco Camp and the weather is being kind to us.

One of the climbers succeeded in reaching Uhuru Peak this morning, while the other climber was unable to continue past Stella Point. This climber is looking to spend 2 more days on the mountain and try again while the other descends.

2 climbers reached Uhuru peak this morning @ 0830, while the other 2 could not proceed past Stella Point. All the climbers are very happy and we are on our way down to Mweka Camp.

We are on the way to 2nd Caves for lunch and then on to Kikelewa this afternoon. All 3 climbers are doing well and the weather is sunny today.

All 10 climbers are doing well and are enjoying the wonderful clear views of Kibo and back out into Kenya. We are heading to Kikelewa via 2nd Caves for lunch.

Unfortunately 1 climber is unable to continue due to a fever picked up before arriving on the mountain. This fever is causing physical weakness so we have agreed to descend off the mountain by retracing our steps.
