We started at midnight at the group split into 2 parties 1 hour later. BA summited with the Assistant Guide @ 0615, and JH reached Gilman’s Point with me @ 0730 where he was tired and unable to continue. The weather was OK until 0500 then the sleet and wind arrived. We are back in Horombo now and very happy yet tired.

We are at School Hut, waiting for the final push to Uhuru Peak later tonight. One climber had a mild headache but we have dealt with that. We had a clear day’s trek from 3rd Cave Camp to School Hut, after heavy rain and snow last night.

We arrived at Horombo Huts @ 1210 from the summit and all 3 climbers are doing very well. Sunny and windy here.

All 3 climbers successfully reached the Roof of Africa this morning @ 0540. They are very happy. We had brilliant weather with the light from a full moon.

All 3 climbers have agreed to start to Uhuru peak at midnight. It is snowing here now.

Both climbers are enjoying the trek and are doing well. We have another great day with no rain or wind. We have arrived at 3rd Cave Camp.

We arrived at School Hut @ 1048 and all 3 climbers are feeling great and looking forward to heading to Uhuru Peak later tonight.

Today is another good day with sunny weather. All 3 climbers are doing well and we are on the way to School Hut.

Another beautiful day on Mount Kilimanjaro with clear blue sky and no rain or wind. Both climbers are doing well and we arrived at Mawenzi Tarn Hut by 1115. After lunch we took an acclimatisation trek to 4,600m.
