Yesterday it was cold and raining, today the mountain is covered with snow. We are about to start the trek to Mawenzi, and the climber feels great.

One of the climbers is struggling a little, so we took a day time summit opportunity with a slow pace and overnighted at School Hut before descending to Mandara today. Both climbers are feeling fine.

Both climbers successfully reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro @ 0535 this morning. They are both well and very happy. We are on the way to Horombo Huts via Kibo Huts for a deserved hot lunch.

We left Crater Camp @ 0700 and have reached Stella Point before we start our descent. The climber is doing really well.

This climber successfully reached Uhuru Peak @ 1140 and we are on the way to the Reusch Ash Pit for the photo to rival Nathalie’s! We will overnight at Crater Camp tonight. The weather today was great all the way.
