We are now at School Hut and the climbers are feeling good. The weather today is much better than yesterday. We are now preparing our gear before resting and starting our trek to the summit at midnight.

We arrived at School Hut @ 1202 and all 3 climbers are feeling OK. Cloudy and windy today, but better than yesterday. We will start our assault to the summit at midnight tonight.

Both climbers are doing well after a night in the crater. We have just reached Gillman’s Point on the way down to Horombo Huts via Kibo Huts.
