While poor signal seems to be preventing cellular coverage on the north of the mountain, the group will have reached Sekimba Camp late this afternoon.

TK’s experience has shown that when a climber heads out to Kilimanjaro he or she leaves many people at home who are either worried about them, or else excited to know about their progress. The purpose of this Kilimanjaro Climbers’ Blog is therefore to allow friends and relatives of climbers to be kept informed about the safety and progress of the climber they want to follow. We hope that it will allay the concerns of worried mothers and spouses, and at the same time, enable those back home to share climbers’ excitement as they approach the summit. We invite readers to please advise us if there is any additional functionality that they feel this blog would benefit from in terms of better achieving these objectives.
